Old Glasgow footage released

Postby vinny » Tue Mar 06, 2007 6:44 pm

A 10 minute except from a film called 'Glasgow 1980' can be viewed on the STV website. Some really good footage of the redevelopment of Townhead/Charing X

It's at this page

http://www.stv.tv/content/news/main/display.html?id=opencms:/news/West_Central_Scotland/Historic_Glasgow_films_see_the_light_of_

I'm sure they'll welcome any feedback comments on the page

10 minute original footage is at the bottom of the page BTW.

Cracking wee video, like the wee bit about Shawlands and Gorbals shopping precincts brings back the memories. :)
P.s this has a Rangers Vs Celtic match in it should this be on here?

Directed by Oscar Marzarolli (sp?) no less and can be viewed in its entirety at "Sadness and Gladness" in the Lighthouse until the 7th of May.
