demolition of listed buildings, to allow for mixed use development incorporating new residential units, business space and care home with associated access, car parking and landscaping
mixed use development incorporating demolition of listed buildings, new residential units, business space and care home with associated access, car parking and landscaping
I've objected to the application to demolish on the grounds that the buildings are of architectural significance, and to the new housing development due to the fact that it will generate even more congestion on local roads which do not have the capacity for existing levels of traffic.
It would be very helpful for HG'ers who are concerned about losing these buildings to take the time to object.
Legitimate grounds for objection are:
- Contrary to the Local Plan /Structure Plan
Appearance ( Design , materials etc )
Traffic, parking or access problems
Residential amenity eg noise, overshadowing etc
Effect on Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas
Impact on natural environment
