VIOLENT crime across a huge swathe of Glasgow has dropped 17% thanks to a massive anti-gangs operation, say police.
Officers say the reduction in violence includes a 13% fall in serious assaults.
They put the results down to the high-profile Operation Tag, which runs across Strathclyde Police's Glasgow South and East Renfrewshire division.
He may be a young thug with a big stick and questionable dress sense but at least hes wearing his gloves. His Gran would be pleased.
