My shower was affected too on Sunday night. Seems to be back to normal now.

I remember back in 1995 or thereabouts, there was this big heatwave. And something like 5 hydrants were set off where I live in one day. Then a few years after that they set off the one right outside my back door. That wasn't fun.

Anyone fancy starting a petition to fit machine gun emplacements near all fire hydrants in the city? Would be great for keeping the ned infestation under control too.

You know, if you're always there when these things go off, people are going to get suspicious.

Is there a reward available...?

I saw one today - its not that big, but I managed to get the location blue plaque in the shot as well. Just after passing it, I saw the Scottish Water guys pull up in the van to fix it.
