Hi Everyone

Firstly this is a very impressive website. There is clearly a good mix of those in the know (both old stuff and new) and those ballsy enough to go hunting out those hidden bits (of course I refer to the various 'tunnels' threads).

My name is Dave to all apart from my Mum who still refuses to defer from my birth given name of David. I actually stumbled across this site trying to find info about the Subway extension plans but I began to read further and uncovered alot of things that really interested me.

Can't promise you all much but I wanted to get a few photo's to respond to a few posts that seemed to be missing a final response, luckily my job and my territory allow me the freedom to help those folk by getting them some of their present shots from past pictures and help show others what their reminising requests now really look like.

Cheers

Dave

Hi All

Dave here. I stay up on the gleniffer braes [hence the name ] :).

Great site, I've been lurking here for a month or so & thought it was about time to join & say "hi".

I'm always up for joining anyone on visits to places of interest & am pretty handy with a camera :)
If it doesn't move & it should, use the WD40. If it moves & it shouldn't, use the duck tape.

Hi Dave

Welcome to Hidden Glasgow. Do you have any photos of the view of Glasgow from the Braes?

Hope to see some of your photos soon. Keep watching the What's On section.that's where you will find out about any nights out or wee trips to parts of Glasgow.

I have been on the board before but my PC had to be reformatted and I could not get in under my usual name so here I am again.
I checked out the member list and there I am twice. :D
My deatls are as before but I no longer work for GHA, retired at 61 last July, work is a four letter word.
Still live in Rutherglen, still do hill walking, photography, speedway, football.
Bye for now, norrie

Hi
Currently living in the USA, in between working for a living, am partially assisting a family member to circumnavigate the world on a 42 foot piece of wood. Although my family roots aren't Glaswegian, I am a Glaswegian, lived in Hope street, (replaced by the SSMAD) and that quaint fishing village at the north end of the city, Sighthill. I still have family in businesses in the Gallowgate, Stockwell Street and London rd.

Would be really interested if anyone has photo graphics of ST Georges Road at the round toll end, Raglan Street and the shops facing the old fire station and St Georges in the Field Church from the 60's.

Thanks to the MOD for sorting out the login problems.

p.s if it matters am a Jags Man. This was the answer to the most posed question when living in Glasgow.
