Hi everyone

Just joined....obviously.I used to stay in Scotstoun up until 2004 when I moved out to Erskine.Basically I got fed up with Glasgow, and the area stayed I in started to decline.Used to love drinking in Partick back in the 90's,sadly I have heard it is not the same place anymore(or I am just getting auld).Used to follow Partick Thistle from 1989-2003 but just lost interest and stopped going.Used to drink in the many colourful pubs in Maryhill before and after the games, still kinda miss it from time to time.

But my main passion is music,I love going to gigs up and down the country. But nothing beats a gig in Glesga for sheer atmosphere and madness.

I look forward to contributing and reading the many excellent posts.

You cannae beat a bit of Glesga gallusness...... 8)

Well hello everyone!
Finally made it :D
To those who haven't been flattened by me yet - I am a Tyrolean mountain girl who was lucky enough to land in this city that has welcomed her with open arms eleven years ago.
I didn't known was "home" meant until then.
Any questions welcome :D

Fancy seeing you on here! Fine, thank you, got a massive tidy up weekend ahead 8O , getting tired of guests requiring army training when entering. At least the garden is done for now. And you, any news?

Just joined about 10 minutes ago. Stay out in Cumbernauld now, but work in a salubrious part of North Glasgow.. when I'm not off on the sick!

Looking forward to getting to know some of you - what I've seen, most of you are a wee bit mental..... 8O 8O

Hi everyone i am a 32 year old from Paisley who has spent time in London Manchester Germany and most exotically Easterhouse.
I have been living in south west Glasgow for just over a year and have been trying to find out the local history of the place. I found this site and thought i could get a lot of good info from it. And hopefully give some back as well.
