Hallo,

Clydebank based, Glasgow native. If you've bought a computer/CDs/DVDs/components in the past 6 years from any of the Tradeston area shops, there's a good chance you know me already :-)

EDIT: Started a glorious posting career with a typo. Nice!

Hello all, and Happy New Year to you. I'm Bobby, born in Glasgow in 58 and living the last 25 years in London. I get up once a year or so but had to miss this year due to shortage of money ... yeh, join the club!

This site is giving me a lot of pleasure, especially to see everyone's brilliant photographs, also sharing the memories of bands etc. from the 70s and 80s. Good work, everyone.

Hello

I don't know if this will interest people in the forum but we've just finished an uncommissioned self funded TV pilot called The Crews.

It's being pitched as the Scottish Sopranos.

Judge for yourself here's the trailer and a link to our Facebook site:

Hi !

I have the first draft of my PhotoDocumentary project up for viewing !

Just a few more bits of streetscape to add, but most of it is there.

More people portraits to come as well.

here it is - http://troy424.tripod.com/drphome.html

So, now i'm looking for funding to help me get it printed, and a venue.
Also looking for other PhotoDocumentary people out there to link up with, so that this kind of project can happen in other parts of Glasgow and the U.K. !

I can see this project as having a long, ongoing and growing presence - other photographers could add portraits or whole streetscapes of other areas, reproducing the project in your own area.
As I will eventually be leaving Glasgow, I'd like to find someone interested in taking on a stewardship role - to continue with the project and add to it.

cheers ! Ian. http://ianbuckland.com
