Loved:

Kelvin Way in winter just after a big dump of snow :)
Ashton Lane/Byres Road (of course!)
Merchant City (I make sure I don't take first time visitors anywhere near the Goldbergs site...)

Hated:
Pretty much everywhere north of Hawthorn Street and east of Balmore Road (and a little bit on either side of both...)
Shettleston/Parkhead boundary

:) I used to remember as a kid my dad driving us through Blackhill (before it was bulldozed to make way for the M80), instructing everyone to make sure our doors were locked, and all windows were closed ::):

Govanhill apparently has a remarkably high rate of alien abduction.
Not something I know of first hand but you can be assured that a nice pot of tea from the Go Slow Cafe at 452 Victoria Road
(0141 423 9886)
is by far the best way to recuperate.

Bloody earthlings. Always blaming us for their mysteries. And you can stop zapping our rocks, too. How would you like it if we kicked your pyramids over?
They boil them for 20 of their Earth minutes

Pyramids? Pah - easy come, easy go, seeing as you lot built them in the first place. [citation needed]
All the world seems in tune on a Spring afternoon, when we're poisoning pigeons in the park.
