sweetie...i can forgive the dyslexia, clearly that cannot be helped...but much of your language smacks of typing way too many text messages.

The blight of a generation.

And, really sweetie, i'm not sure these forums suit you, there is noone else even close to your age on here.

It's "dyslexic" (although I'm thinking it's really ADD you have), and being young is no excuse for having such atrocious spelling and grammar. Mine was better than yours when I was twelve. Do you go up the park with your bottle of Diamond White when you're supposed to be in English?

We're really gutted for you but this place is for BIG grown ups who have completed their education. Why not come back in a few years when you've grasped basic English :?:

I get black pudding online from stornaway, very nice. Have to make my own batter and stick it in the deep fat fryer. They just dont know decent food down here. I do succumb to buying their chippy chips tho.

Have a read of Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser too. Pretty good, grim reading.

King Burger was ISTR behind the Apollo building, on the corner facing where Langs Hotel is now. I dont think it was actually part of the Apollo building. It was only 1 storey while the Apollo was a wee bit bigger.

I thought it shut down around the time of the Apollo, which would have been later than '81, '84 I think.

Image

it was located in the building beneath the billboard and can just be seen in the pic above, and more clearly in this rather sad pic from its final days.
