Just noticed that as well, was about to post.

Great images ! From 2002 it says.

Here's the list of updates. http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/219154/an/latest/page/0#219154

*edit* Just tried it from work and the images looked crap, solved the problem by clearing google earth's cached images, from the Options screen.

And there was me, OUT they day they took the picture I would have been in.

That got me wondering... they are at least 3 years old.

Can anyone pickup a useable detail that fixes when the pictures were taken?

From my own area, it looks like summer of 2002, since new builds from summer of 2003 are absent.

Anyone got a more accurate estimate?

Whenever they built the Unite place by the M8. There are warehouses in Aberdeen in the photos that are no longer there...

It was a Sunday...

The Barras was open for one.... and the level of traffic was very low

Mid afternoon by the shadows... and early or late in the year by the length of the shadows

Found a defining moment, the demolition of Rottern Row is underway, with almost half the site cleared. Now, if only I could remember when it was

Too busy looking at the pictures (lifetime of comics ::): )

Where can the info about the imagery be found?
