Kirsty Wark, stoating out of Greaves Sports on Gordon Street with a massive bag, just before Christmas.

Despite not approving of his choice of employer since 1992 (well, really, 1986), I have a soft spot for Ooh ah Darren Jackson-ah.

Tony Benn is poorly and in hospital. Send good thoughts if you can.

And again, if you would.

Aye.

What is the etiquette when seeing a famous person? I studiously did not notice Peter Howson as he bought fancy mushrooms and other upmarket foods in Roots & Fruits last weekend.

An almost imperceptible nod will usually suffice. The 'famous person' will usually spend the rest of the day wondering 'who the **** was that'.

I could've sworn I saw Johnny Vegas coming out of Forbidden Planet yesterday afternoon...
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Kris Boyd (if he counts as famous) in a restaurant in Silverburn (if that counts as Glasgow), this afternoon.
Funnily enough the last most famous person, I saw before Kris Boyd was........Kris Boyd, in a tea room at the Mearns X shopping centre. That definitely doesn't count as Glasgow as it is in East Renfrewshire.
He advocated for the weak against the strong, the poor against the rich and labour against capital.

There's a Rangers/The Rangers/Sevco theme here...

John 'Bomber' Brown, talking loudly into his phone in the doorway of EAT, Gordon Street. 'Where's the breid?' or some such chat.

Or a football theme...
Kenny Arthur the ex Jags goalkeeper and a bit of a legend.
