Waverley Secondary PE teachers in the 80's

Postby Doorstop » Tue Jun 13, 2017 8:45 pm

Bit of a long shot this, but does anyone remember the name of the principle of PE in Waverly Secondary during the 80's?

Middle aged bloke, balding, with a beard.

Used to kick about permanently in a blue canvas tracksuit and bright blue Adidas Gazelle back before anyone knew what Adidas Gazelles were?

It's on the tip of my tongue and doing my head in.

Good luck with that one, sound like your quintessential (wtf does that mean) PE teacher, I was at Adelphi Secondary Modern school and the master was a Mr Curran, wearing a sinilar adidas tracksuit, he used to pick me because I could smash a ball a bit and he would just blare this out from the shy line, boot the ba'. Maybe about 1975/76

When I was at Wolseley we had a female PE teacher cannot remember her name would have been in 1973/74

I went to many schoold after that and all the PE teachers were from the same mould
