Hi folks

I'm looking to move to Glasgow. My top price is £80k and when searching properties I keep finding great looking houses in the East End- particularly around Shettleston and East Carntyne. Are these areas recommended? Any other areas of Glasgow you'd recommend looking at?

If I was in the market again in Glasgow I would start in the Gorbals. £80k would start you up well there. Handy for the city, nice parkland at Glasgow Green. Good luck !

Yeah, Gorbals for me too. Wouldn't be saying that a few years ago.

If I'd my time again, I'd be out sandyhills barrachnie mount vernon kind of areas.
Slight trek to a station but otherwise most agreeable
I'm five minutes to the North West electric line but it's just eyewatering around here.
