Pollok old post office

Postby gordy2209 » Fri Mar 03, 2017 8:35 am

We are currently in the middle of revamping the old post office on Haughburn road and our volunteers have been amazing and got the old place looking great. We are turning it into a care center /special needs service/befriending project and a nursery for the locals .We are almost finished but we have one small problem we may need help with. Our sensory room floor has a dip and it needs leveling out before we can put carpet down and officially open it and we are fast running out of funds to do so.Are there any charitable people out there that could volunteer to do this for us? A builder could do the job in a couple of hours and we would appreciate the help no end and supply as much tea or coffee as needed :) .Please here our plea and someone step forward to help .Love and thanks from Puffin Care services .

contact 07518961326 ..Gordon.. Or pop in to see us any time 6 haughburn road Pollok.

Can't help with the physical side of this but I have asked for it to be placed on a church facebook site and hopefully, you may get some response.

Have you approached your Local Area Partnership?
What about asking the local community shops (big stores) and ask their community specialists?

I'm sorry if this is teaching my granny new tricks but it's been put on the church facebook site and i've asked my local guys but they're not able to help.

8O Why don't you approach the people who 'run' the wedge, (that famous pink elephant), I am certain that because the 'community' as such cannot get access to it, as designed and funded for, must have some excess furniture and fittings that may be of help and assistance to a 'community group'....?
