Partially collapsed chimney stack forces closure of Byres Road between Highburgh Road and Partick Cross, with evacuation of shops and tenants in affected flats:

Knew there was something up when I seen the guys up in the oversized cherry picker heavin lumps of masonary from the tenement roof into a skip on the street below. Makes quite a bang.

Was surprised there weren't more!!

Whenever there are storms I'm very careful about walking about round here. Shit is forever getting blown off or down, especially from the roofs and most if ti would kill you if it hit you.
