Great stuff Dave - apart from the bit about the 'tanks in the streets' in the cattle market video. Tthat picture of a tank in the Trongate is actually from a war fund-raising effort in 1918, as conclusively shown in this blog post by Gordon Barclay. There were no tanks involved in 'the 'battle of George Square' - they arrived 4 days after the event and never left the cattle market.

Gordon has also debunked several other myths surrounding the event, such as 'the government sent in the army'.

At least you didn't mention Churchill! ::):

Fantastic videos though, I'm really enjoying them. Please keep it up!

Ah well, cant get everything right but I am glad you are enjoying the videos.

Been on holiday and then laid flat with covid for a week so no new videos for youtube yet but I realise I hadnt posted this one here yet;
