No, no, your comments are relevant. What indeed do we need to do to have such places closed down. This yard only had around 70,00 tyres unlike others that have upwards of 250,000 illegally stored tyres.

Perhaps other yards are similar in Glasgow 8O :wink: 8O

Yes it was. There was still a plume of smoke visible this evening from cambuslang. The BBC site mentioned a possible asbestos risk last night. The fire itself looked to be at the side of and behind the building used for the Polmadie car boot sale. Some sort of pioneering building from memory?
