Cheers for clearing that up, Gee Gee's was a great wee club (or dancing as it was back then), now some pishy Irish theme bar

Gigi's.

It's not so much that it's a name change : the original building occupied by Gigi's was demolished.

Was it really ?

I can remember walking from pavement & up the stairs into Gee Gee's (the dancing), I'm convinced that's where Waxy's now is, although I stand to be corrected

Cheers

Waxy O'Connor's (or whatever) is where Gigi's was. It's just a new build.

So stand corrected. Sort of. :-)

Turns out that is correct, Daddy Warbucks was in fact after Gee Gee's (not sure which year the fire destroyed part of the building)
