I don't know the layout of the pub, but it does look bad. still no reports of fatalities, but some trapped inside (sky news + twitter #clutha). apparently the band tat were playing are all ok. hoping it looks worse than it is.

Island bar near the middle, layout-wise.

I heard somebody on the radio saying she'd been inside when it happened and that the ceiling didn't collapse all at once, so it may indeed look worse than it is. Hopefully that's the case.

The helicopter was flying about over Polmadie Road/M74 area for quite a while tonight.

One of my friend's son was playing in the band, but they all managed to get out OK.
Dreadful incident. I suppose we should be thankful that there wasn't an explosion.
