I was just on another site discussing my old primary school ( the currently closed Holmlea Primary) with people who were also there. After a few comments about returned unopened spinster teachers, lining up in twos in short trousers on frosty mornings, separated from the girls, the 100 ft long pole that was needed to open the huge windows and the parquet flooring...... the topic came up about the terrible outside toilet facilities and San Izal toilet paper who's best use was as tracing paper for geography homework.
Can someone please enlighten me on just how you were meant to use this stuff, especially the single sheet variety. Just what use was it when it came to its designated purpose other than to smear the unpleasantness to other areas of your anatomy. AND every sheet said in red, 'Now Wash Your Hands.' It should have said, Now Wash Your Bum, Now Have A Shower (In these days we had a bath once a week whether we needed it or not), or Now Smear Your Prison Cell!
Did somebody high up in the education department own this company?
