It is no better/worse than anywhere in Glasgow. OK talk of pubs might mean a measure for many but the lack of pubs is no bad thing. There are no large supermarkets . However plenty of buses can take you to some not too far away. If a car owner they are even more handy. If you cycle then the well used cycle path is nearby. If you do have a car then parking is definately a lot better than some parts say like the west end and Partick. Nope not too bad a place to stay. But then I'm from Yoker.
