I voted too - something that I always do, but with a sense of optimism that for once my vote will actually count!

And I used to be a 'floating' voter but now I've sank my lot in with the only person who can waffle more than me - our Eck!

I'll keep the first vote to myself, but #2 is going for oor Margo Macdonald, who remains the only person I've ever voted for who's actually got in.

Vote early, vote often 8)

I have never, ever, managed to vote for a winning candidate in FPTP, and I always vote. Local, General, whatever.

Vote Yes to AV!

Then (as hopefully tonight) Margo got in on the regional list, so I've never actually had any result from FPTP either. Voted yes for AV too, fat lot of good it looks like doing - largely because of the No campaign and the people who want a no, to be honest.

So many people I viewed as rounded, intelligent people, voted no.
I am astounded.

A resounding No! vote will make life very difficult for Clegg.

Anything that makes life difficult for Clegg (apart from being a GOOD THING in its own right) makes life difficult for the Con Dem coalition.

Anything that makes life difficult for the coalition (apart from being a GOOD THING in its own right) makes life difficult for Cameron.

Anything that makes life difficult for Cameron ............... you get the gist

SNP/SNP/Yes for me.

My preferred outcome would be an SNP/Green coalition although I think it's pretty unlikely that the numbers will make that possible. And my thinking on not voting Green on the list is that the SNP/Labour seats will be much closer than the polls have suggested and, if it came down to it, I'd much rather see another SNP minority government than a Labour/Green coalition.

As for AV...god, the No campaign have been putting out such utter bullshit that it would have been difficult to vote any other way really. AV is only marginally better than FPtP but it is still an improvement and a 'No' will set back the cause of Westminster electoral reform for a very long time and, sadly, that looks like where it's going.

As much as I agre with you Mori I still think he does put up a good job against London and has done a reasonably good job in the light of the banking sham etc. I too will be going Green for my second vote.
After speaking to my mother she along with other pensioners will be voting for the Pensioner Party. There is a very large lobby for a similar group in USA and they do get pensioners a good voice .

Evidence please.

You want evidence of my mothers voting slip. Never knew you were allowed to photo copy them.
Thank you. And why not.

Glasgow really has surprised me.

Putting aside who won what for a moment, not being taken for granted can only be good for the city.

To true BB. There are also people that deserved what they got as you say BB ,Glasgow Labour people have taken this city for mugs .
All to often In victory people assume the job is done. Its only half done .SNP must now work harder than ever now they have been been given a massive vote of confidence by the Scottish electors. They have done a fairly decent job and unlike Labour worked hard for my vote . But also in victory we must also be magnanimous ,there are some decent people who woke up this morning that no longer have jobs and will be a loss to Scotland. My only concern now is Ecks swagger .
Thank you. And why not.

Feel kind of bad for voting Pauline McNeill out of Kelvin, but her party's campaign was an absolute mess.

Turns out "vote Labour or you'll get stabbed" wasn't what people wanted to hear.

In other news, holy shit, SNP majority. This is unreal.
