Loch Etive, Glencoe is one of my favourites. So quiet and beautiful no matter the season. I like all parts of Glencoe but this one place always brings somehting new everytime I visit.

I'd go for the Tail o' the Bank.
It has just occurred to me that I haven't heard this expression for years, so perhaps it's no longer in use. It mean the Clyde coast around Gourock.

Well, you would have to go along way in this world to find anywhere as beautiful as the west coast and I will now post pics from my travels to back up this argument.

For me Orkney is the most beautiful place in Scotland. Not beautiful in a picture postcard type of way. Beautiful in the sense the place is good for your soul, your wellbeing. The place is well sorted and I reckon they know it. :D

I've done a fair bit of travelling around Scotland this summer and one of the most beautiful places I've come across is thle coast round Morar, near Mallaig.

Other highlights were driving through Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe and also the A939 road over the Cairngorms.

Argyll for me. Highlights are the sand beach at Kilmory and the standing stones at Kilmartin Glen.

The view from the top of Ford Dunadd is also spectacular.

Glen Coe is amazing. It always amazes me when I'm heading up there on the bus that people are sleeping or doing crosswords rather than looking out the window!

There are a lot of great places in the highlands but Glen Coe just has an 'atmosphere' that is unmatched.

Totally agree KonstantinL

It has such an atmosphere that I don't think can be compared to anywhere else.

I did the West Highland Way a couple of years ago and also loved the Rannoch Moor section but Glencoe has the beauty.

Arran is full of places that amazed me when we were there over the summer. The Holy Isle from Lamlash, Pladda and Ailsa Craig from Kildonan, Lochranza...

Will post some pics to prove this once I have my PC working again.
