Fantastic day out. A big thanks to gap74 for all the planning and to everyone else for the company.

Gutted I couldn't go! My arm is bloody sore, would've preferred to be wandering about!

Had a fantastic day folks thanks to all for such great company.

Having been directly behind the sore arse incident one does think it needs further elucidation though!

Take care y'all

A very fine day out. I believe Josef may have some photographic evidence of arse injury.

Aye, grand to see y'all, old and new, and cheers for coming along. Sorry it was a bit rushed at the end, would have liked to have spent more time exploring the other bits of the gunsite and the quarry. If we get round to part 2, I'll make sure I don't have to rush off to work!

PS Here's the link to the Canmore entry for the gunsite, with the archive aerial shot of it in use:

Yes, ok, I've been hijacked into posting this one.

Anyway, we were on the way to Fin-me-oot, and after negotiating a rather dodgy set of steps, we got to the bottom to find a laminated sign reading 'Danger : Steps under repair'. Aye, cheers lads.

So I think, I ought to get a snap of this sign with some of the HG'rs coming down the steps.

And at that very moment, the Tobester decides to negotiate the remainder of the steps on the lower part of his anatomy.
