Jaws was released in 1975, Janis Joplin died 1970.
I think the photo is too cheesy for Annie Leibowitz.
The book she is reading is 'The Jaws Log', which was printed in 1976 and there is also a 25th Anniversary edition - but it would say that on the cover, I presume, if it were that edition.
I think she must have something to do with the film, but I don't know what! Her face looks older than her body and her style of dress (?)

Could it be a picture of Susan Backlinie - she was Chrissie, the woman the shark killed at the start of the film?

The second picture at the start of this thread made me think of Jane Fonda.
