Yep, that's what it looks like to me too, but I can't think where it could possibly go to.

Someone on here mentioned a station being opened to serve Ibrox stadium a wee while back, but I'm not sure if they were serious or not.

Don't know anything specific re the Helen Street Branch - but there are engineering (Track improvements and maintenance ) works between Glasgow & Paisley on for next 6 weekends

Although the GARL project from Paisley St James to the Airport has been withdrawn due to funding withdrawal, Network Rail committed to improvements on the Glasgow - Gilmour Street including track & signalling improvements, could they be clearing the Helen St Branch for access / storage purposes

they are relaying the centre line between sheilds jnc and arkleston jnc, that bit at Ibrox is being used AFAIK as a worksite for building track so it can be lifted in

Amongst many other strange and diverse wonders that I've uncovered while clearing out the house, I have found a set of professionally drawn blueprints for constructing 0 guage Caley locos. Somebody gave them to me about 35 years ago, but I think they're much older.

Think so Josef - Found the little case that I was scanning them from, but there will no doubt be some missing. There's a lot of prints as well as negs and only a small proportion are London, but I'll at least get all the boxes together in one place now. Makes my blood run cold to think what's probably ended up in the skip in my haste to get things cleared.

One for the connoisseurs of all things that go wrong with the railway

The a2b line was suspended last night, due to overhead wire problems, seemingly there is a problem with the pantographs on the 334s and theyre getting buggered by the wires, i shouldnt laugh, but seeing as im a guard - i will ::):, what a fantastic start for the line, reduced service, and using diesels then trains getting knackered, oh the joys of DOO

It's telling that a member of staff finds the woes of the re-instated line amusing. The fact it is DOO has no bearing on the problems......
