Ahh, the smell of Glesga in the morning ...

Like passing a pub doorway at 8am.
Like last night's ashtray.
Like the bins at the back of the PDSA.
Like an unflushed lavvy.
Like a tramp's trolleys.

Splash it on all over. 8O

There was an item on the telly a few night ago about these clowns, and the reporter noted that somewhere in the orderof 90% of them have broken their promise within a year or two.

Don't know what your definition of a success is, but mine...

Did the reporter go onto to say that when they DID break the promise they were woefully underprepared for the emotional attachment and also did not have the basic education on sexual health to prevent pregnancy or disease ?

SilverRing: Bad idea. Any health / science program based on Religion is a bad thing in my book - THE TWO DON'T MIX!

It might've helped the (what?) 600+ or so 13-15 year olds that got pregnant in Scotland last year.

Personally it makes me a little sad when I hear young girls talking about sex (and stuff that involves sexy things). Young, I mean the aforementioned 13-15 year olds, some even younger.

I complain openly at work when I see 8 year olds wearing leather trousers and made up like hookers (it'll cost me my job one day).

Particuarly when I see some of the guys they are talking about. I have a a whole host of feelings and mixed opinoins about it. I was at the train station one day and these two guys, (musta been in there mid twenties), right bright sounding guys  were chatting so a young girl asking her who she knows, what she does, wanna have sex, where you from, will you suck ma dick, how old are you, what school you go tae? Etc...

She didn't seem too much brighter though, playing the old "How old dae ye think am ur?" game. Bet she was regretting it after the spit roasting, just coz two sleazy losers wanted to molest her at the station. That's what I think of when I see that going on.

Sure Science and Religion should stop picking on each other, that I agree. It's too hard to put blame on people for something like this. Is it the parents, the polis, the teachers, the government, the friends, the media, the blah blah blah blah blah blah......

Mind it's just me that feels this way, maybe I'm just an old fashioned stright outta the 1880s type, or maybe I've heard too many Bruce Springsteen songs. Thus I wont force anyone to believe my BS, as even I struggle to understand myself sometimes, don't expect anyone else to know what I'm talking about.

Sorry about the rant. I wont say anymore on it. Liek I say it's hard enough for me to undertand myself, so I could write a million words and still not make sense. I understand why some people would think it's a bit much though, The Silver Ring Thing.

I'll shut up now, I don't wanna get yelled at or make people hate me.

Sorry.
