Being at the cutting edge of technology, I have a Fuji FinePix 1400 zoom which is about 6 years old, and was second hand from Ebay.
Most of it works :?

I have had the pleasure of funding my husband's hobby by treating him to:

Canon 300D

Canon 20D

along with all the relevant 'must have' paraphernalia (lenses, filters, software, etc etc).

At the mo I'm using a Kodak Z700 (Although it does have a reasonable lens for a compact the firmware is a bit ropey)

For film I use a Minolta Dynax 700si with various pieces of glass and a Metz 60CT4 flash gun

Santa is bringing a Sony Alpha A100 DSLR with 18-70mm lens but all of the Minolta kit works with it too, although I still have a couple of lenses on the wishlist

I have a Sony Cybershot H1, a lovely wee digital effort that's none too shabby for a point-and-shoot. I also have a teleconverter that takes the long end of the zoom to 734mm (equiv.), meaning it can be used to count the plooks on the arses of folk in tower blocks halfway across town. If they have their curtains open. And their kecks down. It's a really good zoom, is what I'm trying to say.

That camera looks pretty good. I'm after something with a better zoom and that could be it.

Let me know how you get on with new toy too Alex.

Will do if the bloody thing turns up, I ordered it on first class delivery and a battery on free super saver delivery at the same time from Amazon, The Battery has turned up before the camera and I paid the extra for quick delivery on the Cam too.

Amazon are usually very good Alex. Did you check your order on their site to make sure the camera has actually been sent?

Cheers

Yes John, I even have the tracker number for parcelforce but it seems to be in limbo at Glasgow Central Depot for the last 2 days, Must be the heavy workload at the moment or something, (Hope Nobody's nicked It). :?

Amazon said it should have been delivered by today if i don't get it tomorrow, some calls will be made. :x
