Have been looking at a debate on one of the art fora, on the subject on Film vs Digital. It's not quite the done deal I thought it was, and many of the top lensmen still swear by film for certain applications. One of the most interesting facts to come out is that a frame of 35mm film has the equivalent digital resolution of anywhere between 6MP (coarsest grain) and 80MP (finest grain) and 8 x 10 film equates to approx 1 GP. There's life in the old dog yet!
