Cokin filter

Postby tobester » Fri Jul 23, 2010 8:25 pm

One for the more advanced users on here, was asked today can cokin circular filters be used with a cokin P filter holder?

TIA

I have a Cokin circular filter (a polariser) that fits into my Cokin holder. Whether or not it's a P-type, I couldn't say just now. I'll look it out later and see.

Having looked at the Cokin >> website, there's circular polarising filter that looks similar to mine. It's available in the P series and A series. Mine appears to be the A series, but I should imagine it works in a similar manner. The filter goes into the slot closest to the lens and clips into place whereupon it can be turned to suit.

I have no idea what a Cokin filter is but I would like to congratulate our Bridge on a thoroughly comprehensive post that's obviously taken some time to construct.

Conscientious or what? Great work that girl. 8)

Why, thank you Doorstop. I must confess to some embarrassment, however. I should have taken a photo of the assembly mounted on a lens for completeness.

Seconded. I was presuming it was something to do with Town Gas, personally.
