My brother and I were just commenting yesterday that that steel structure doesn't seem to have made much progress recently. We wondered if work had stopped.

Edited to add. I suppose the crane must be doing something.

To be honest, Ony, there was not much hint of activity when I passed.

Resurrecting this to see if anyone has any idea why Ogilvie seem to have turned their back on this.

The Hill Street blocks are completed (with one being turned over to Charing Cross HA in return for the developers being allowed to build there in the first place!)

But the block on the north side of Hill Street is a frame, and all that's been done on the Buccleuch Street block is footings! I moved here a few months ago, and was a bit worried about living next to a building site, but apparently there's been nothing doing since they completed the first three blocks.

Quite frankly, it's a bloody eyesore. Anyone know if Ogilvie are teetering on the brink? The other night, around midnight, there was the unmistakable hum of an angle grinder going on the site, so if they're not quick their streel structure will have been sold for scrap!
