hi , first time on here ,, anyone now of a new slipway being built near the tall ship ?

Not aware of one actually being constructed at the present time although I believe Glasgow City Council were going to be looking at constructing one at somepoint before the new museum was completed.

Hi BigBill welcome to HG, this is some info on the new slipway being proposed on the River kelvin.

The Provision of a Slipway adjacent to the Glasgow Riverside Museum
Purpose of Report:
To seek approval to locate and develop a slipway at Pointhouse, Partick adjacent to the
Proposed Glasgow Riverside Museum.
Recommendation:
To procure the development of a slip at an estimated cost of £2.0 million, thereby further
facilitating the regeneration of the River Clyde, particularly at Pointhouse, Partick.
