Scots fish market to rival Tate Modern art space – Herald (10 December)
http://www.sundayherald.com/news/heraldnews/display.var.1066464.0.scots_fish_market_to_rival_tate_modern_art_space.php
A £750,000 Heritage Lottery Fund award announced earlier this month will be used to refurbish The Briggait in Glasgow's city centre to create a mixed-use visual arts space, including an exhibition hall, which it is claimed will become "the Turbine Hall of the north". Once refurbished, one of the building's three 19th-century market halls will be on a scale to rival London’s Tate Modern, the world-famous exhibition space.
A vagabond on the way.

So long as it has items of interest above the ground floor *, unlike GOMA, what a waste of space that place is.
*Apart from the wonderful balcony.

I like the Tim Stead thing (if it's still there) on the first floor, but other than that, spot on HH.

Don't forget the coffee in the basement.
