The canal up at Spiers Wharf/Basin's - currently, they are isolated from
one another, with a 'missing' section. This was done at the time of the
M8 construction, as you can just make out in that image. The water is
piped from the Basins to Spiers Wharf.
I read they plan to restore it and create some form of marina at the
basins.
