I want to win the lottery, buy it, and run it as a classy pub.

Had to laugh at the report when it said the other rotunda is now a "restaurant", when the image at the same time clearly had "GALA CASINO" all over it. Surely it's not just a restaurant under the Gala name? Were STV afraid to call it a casino?

It'd be ideal! Can somebody just donate me the money instead, I really want to do this. I'd be brilliant!

I think it would make a good music venue, possibly in conjunction with the BBC. Perhaps we could use it for a Scottish version of Later With Jools....who would present it I wonder? Not Marti bliddy Pellow that's for sure!!

There is not much space for parking, any potential investor would look at this point 1st and foremost... if anyone is to buy the place they would be looking for incentives from the council as there is a fair amount of work needed to be done internaly and externaly.
Hope the building gets taken up soon and made in to a showpiece.

Greetings HG people.
Today I have requested details on this building for potential redevelopment.
I am entirely unsure what the state of play is in regards to the internals of the building, but the external has been spruced up a little.
There are a few pieces of glass missing from the roof so I presume the internals are still in a similar state to the previous pictures.
I will let you know what the story is once I know.

Was in a meeting with Glasgow Buildings Preservation Trust yesterday on a project i'm undertaking and i'm hearing that they will be taking on the South Rotunda to be reinstated to its former glory for a prospective client.
Just thought i'd let you know.
