There are quite a few "parts of parks" in Glasgow like this part of Victoria Park being neglected. I wonder if the original owners who gave the land to the council or whoever it was at the time had any conditions written in. Maybe like, this is part
of Glasgow "Common Good" and if up for sale the original owners can get any proceeds from the sale. I suspect this is
part of Glasgow's "Common Good" and any money raised should go into this fund. But I would not hold my breath on this.
This bit of ground was used for parking at Scostoun Stadium. If think a pub is a bit of scare story. More likely soulless flats.
Are there any conditions in the title deeds on this bit of ground? Can Glasgow just go off and sell of bits of parks? What is the opinion of the local city councillors? Presumably they will have been consulted prior to the proposed disposal.

A corner of Richmond Park was supposed to be being turned into a pub eventually.

Parts of Maryhill Park are "neglected". Football pitches at Knightswood had some plan for 5 a side "complex" and I seem to
recall something about rugby. But they are just derelict a red shale area now. Perhaps neglected bits of parks and/or parks could be highlighted.

Wonder just what price increases are in the pipeline to use the velodrome, swimming pools, Scostoun, Gorbals etc etc. to help pay the games "debt" legacy.

They'll be minimal. Once Bridget retires the opening Hours of Libraries will be reviewed again and maybe the number of libraries might be reduced too or turned into Community?Information centres.

I look forward for the newly politicised to campaign for an increase in poll tax.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.
