Beehives on St Enoch Centre

Postby G3 Growers » Tue Sep 04, 2012 5:44 pm

Johnny's Garden are sticking a couple of beehives on the roof of St Enoch Centre.

As they say themselves.

So tomorrow we will be taking two of our bee hives to a new home on the roof of the St Enoch Centre.
This is part of a co-project with ourselves, the centre and Glasgow City Council. They will be a permanent feature on the roof and we will be hosting bee keeping workshops and information groups throughout the year.
The centre takes it's environmental commitment very seriously and we can't wait to be part of the project.

Brilliant and the next time I visit, I'll be 'visited' by the swarm....

Midges don't come near me, never have but one Bee or Wasp and next thing their granny, aunts, cousins and neighbours are all round me....
