I see the wee blue crane has gone, the jib was removed on Friday. The main mody was split into two parts & was sitting on two waggons yesterday afternoon. It appears to have been dismantled rather than torn down so maybe it will be used elsewhere?

Crusty was saying that there was a rumour it might be getting relocated to the new transport museum HH. :)

Looks like the groundwork for the bridge is underway now and may even finish on time (May 2008)

and maybe just maybe, i will se a new building or developement built in glasgow that makes me want to stop and look/admire, rather than turning quickly away :roll:

Would it have been so hard for the architect to put a bit of thought into it.
Maybe a little more glamour than a glass shoebox.
I can just hear the calls to Cranstonhill Police station now...

The fact the crane was removed and not cut up on site might indicate a new lease of life sometime. New transport museum perhaps?
