Is the starting point far in a cab from Buchanan Bus Station ? Can see myself getting lost and not finding everyone

That'll cost you a small fortune. I suggest you catch the FirstGroup 240 service from Buchanan Bus Station to Sandyhills Golf Course.

Ach, if you drink enough you'll not mind any more.

Probably 20-30mins walk from Cambuslang station.

Come out from the main entrance where the ticket office is onto Main St.

You should be at a set of traffic lights. Cross the dual carriageway (there's an underpass to the right if you'd rather play it safe!).

Once across, the road bends down to the right - this is Bridge St. Follow it down until you're nearly but not quite at the Morrison's petrol station - on your left, you'll see an old road bridge alongside a newer pedestrian bridge going over the Clyde. The road bridge has been closed to vehicles for years now. Cross either bridge into the Industrial Estate. Keep following the road that you're on and you'll get to a roundabout. Go straight on (sort of - it's a wee bit more to the left than straight on!). and you'll almost immediately come to another roundabout. Go straight on again (sort of - bit to the right of straight this time!), following the main road that goes under the railway bridge.

Again, keep following this road. Straight on at yet another roundabout, then the next roundabout after that should be the one they're currently building a bridge over for the new motorway. Go straight on again past this, and you'll hit London Rd where the rendezvous point is.
