Right, that is 4. Do we each have to register individually or can we register as a team? As for training, I am free most evenings at the moment, but I think a longer run is in order. How about 25 miles or so next weekend? We could cycle to Livingstone and get the slow train back to Glasgow. Or Balloch is about 30 miles, that is a nice run too.

Some longer runs definitely is a good plan!

Though my august weekends are taken for the next few weeks, or thats how it looks just now. So i probably can't jon you for that

I am however available for weeekday evening runs, pretty much any night. As a rough guide to how far / how long it takes (me), i cycled 35 miles in 3 hours a couple of weeks ago. I don't really push myself! My back wasn't enjoying it though, mostly due to lack of use i think. So an evening ride of 20 miles could be reasonable? I have no routes in mind But for any intersted evening cyclists, I could research options. I have that map you recommended ronnie.

Balloch is a lovely run, then over the hill to Helensburgh and the train back.
Also available for evening runs. Once I collect my new bike on Saturday.

One person registers and sets up a team, and others register and join that team. All four have to register together to get the four-for-the-price-of-three discount.

Well - I'll be using the same (t)rusty bike that I was using 30 years ago. It's still an excellent machine: only problem is the tyres - the small wheel at the back's ok, but it's a real b*****r getting something to fit on the big front one.

Not sure I'll be able to join in the training sessions, much as I'd like to, owing to being in Motherwell and being a bit pressed for opportunities to get out and about, but I'll certainly be there for the big run.

Thanks, Sharon. I suspect that HGers are not organised enough to book four at the one time , so why don't you (and your +1) register, and tell us the name of the team. Then the rest of us can register and join your team.

There should now be a Hidden Glasgow team, though given there doesnt appear to be useful feedback like say an email confirming you have a "team" or an account to login to (unless im missing something?) im not sure this worked
