Have read these posts re Laurel & Hardy before, I would like to take my dad to one as he LOVES them, however he finds them so funny he may be barred - laughing so loud, then he can hardly move as he is sore. I would put up with this if I felt we would not be thrown out - and it is also his birthday on the 8th so would be a good night out for him. Dare I brave it ?Also what time does it finish?

Nine p.m. Susan. Put him up the back row :) .

Be prompt, btw; the entrance is through the fire exit down the lane (no, really :D ), and the bloke manning the doors closes up about ten to quarter past seven at the latest.

Plus you really do need some time for a wander round beforehand, the place is a true hidden gem.

Yes, come along! Anyone who laughs loudly is especially welcome. Newcomers are always welcome and so are familiar faces.

Just a quick reminder that Laurel and Hardy are back on the big screen at the Panopticon tonight. Please come along and laugh.

I have been looking forward to this for months but can't come now due to family commitments.

I am gutted but hope you all have a good night.

Not only a full house tonight, but standing room only at the back.

Well done Willie :D .

Thanks, Josef. I was very glad to see our 2008 season get off to such a smashing start. With an audience like we had last night, one cannot fail. All six Scottish tents of the Sons of the Desert were present and it made a great start to our 2008 season. We are now back in business on the first Wednesday of each month. All welcome.
