aye twas a bit of a disaster - i left the cakes at sharons (!!!), source was too busy, metropolitan busy and antibiotics and wine do not mix :(

bah, southside or west end next time methinks!

I did turn up, again - but on looking through the door at Bar Source, it looked like it was all set put for people to tuck into a 3 course meal, not what 1) I was expecting, nor 2) I wanted, as I had already eaten........ :(

Just a thought, with all this uncertainty and duff venue, would it not be nice to have a meeting in someone's hoose ?

Good company, no ned bother (probably), cheap booze, good grub (takeaway ?), your own choice of music, and a sofa/floor to kip on if some are a bit too pissed, or far from home, to travel at night.

Maybe even have a barbie when the weather improves :)

Might I suggest a return visit to Georgics? I can get us an area bookmarked for us like last time and wrangle the 20%. Even on a payday friday is doesnt really get totally rammed

wasn't being funny. I could only have satyed about 90mins at most, anyway.

so, what was wrong with Cafe Source?

I wasn't commenting on your post Steven, just proposing an idea for a future meeting venue :) With the duff venue comment, I really meant the loud band.
