st peter's is looking in definitely worse condition than it was a few months ago. visit it now before it deteriorates much further. just uploaded a few more photos of it here, from a visit on monday:

i think that fence has been there for a while, afaik. haven't tried going round the back of the convent, so not sure if you can access it that way. you can get into the small round buildings at the front, but that's about all from that way.

not much happening in terms of development, just there seemed to be a lot of fire damage i hadn't noticed before, etc.

There's something about getting in a cab and saying "drive until you reach the end of this £20" that sounds like a totally awesome thing to do.

actually, are we talking about the same St Peter's? I'm meaning the seminary at Cardross - is there a graveyard of the same name?

St Peter's Cemetery is located just up from Belvidere hospital.

It's a really nice cemetary - well looked after.

Is this shaping up to a trip to St Peter's Cemetery (for those of you who thought it was Seminary, I know how you feel, us oldies have trouble with the old ear trumpets) on Sunday 2 May, with a trip - if we have enough cars - to a couple of others on the south side? That would suit me perfick.
For those of you wanting to throw 20 squids at a taxi driver to drive round the block for 45 minutes ... on you go. And don't forget the 20 squids return fare!
I wish I was as young as Made in Possil is, but I fear I am even older than HeeBeeGeeBees21 thinks he might be.
I'll bring the crisps.
