Oliver Ho Live @ the all new Renfrew Ferry-Glasgow.

Postby caine » Thu Apr 21, 2005 3:31 pm

Well, its been a long time coming, and we're pleassed to announce the return to our old stomping ground, the Renfrew Ferry!

The ferry has under gone a major overhaul of the venue and relocation to the north side of the river, allowing it for the first time, to extend its opening hours to reflect that of every other club in the city centre. The refit has encompassed the whole of the ferry's interior, with a new layout, bars, and a rebuild of those oh so dangerous stairs(no more broken backs and lost pints)! Not to mention the brand spanking new Function1 sound system!!!

So to put it through its paces, we have invited Oliver Ho to accompany us aboard, showcasing a 2 hour set, comprising of four decks, and an intregrated live set for good measure! Any one who managed to catch him down at Split for their opening parties will no doubt remember the destruction he caused on the dancefloor!

As always, the residents will be on hand to deliver their new live/dj set, with live visuals from the Vidiot collective to keep you entertained on the slippery slope that is a good old fashion, Saturday night knees up!

Guest: Oliver Ho (Meta records / Blueprint records
Date: 14th May
Venue: Renfrew Ferry (north side of the river at the old Tuxedo Princess
berth)
Time: 11pm - 3am
Cost: £10 - Advance tickets from Rub a Dub, subject to booking fee.

Bring friends and dancing boots but not your mothers!

Cheers

Aye the lift's inside the Ferry and you still have to go down a Gangway pitched at a 45 degree angle . There is still work to be done on it I presume.
