Hello there you people who walked on Sunday. You did get a great day weather-wise for it.
I was intrigued to see in your photos at Cathkin Park that the hand-rails looked as though they had recently been painted. Are there any organised games played there. In fact is the pitch playable. I wouldn't imagine so, but then why paint the hand-rails.
My abiding memory of Cathkin was seeing a young Ally Mcleod running up the left wing with a mop of fair hair all over the place.
That must have been in the early fifties. I wasn't a Thirds fan but I enjoyed going over there to see them play occasionally.
Hope you can shed some light on my quandary.

There were pitch markings, so it looked as though it had been used. Obligatory dog turd in the penalty area though ::):
