Mitchell Event / Metropole Memories 7 October
Posted: Tue Sep 30, 2014 12:55 pmThe Mitchell Library has organised an all day event in conjunction with Scottish Theatre Archives on Tuesday 7 October.

At the afternoon session ( 2.00pm - 4.00pm in the Moir-Dyer Room of the Mitchell) they are focusing on the Metropole on St Georges Road, with a talk, a short film screening and an informal group discussion. They are keen to encourage local people who remember the theatre to attend and to share their memories.
It would be helpful if anyone able to attend could book in advance, to give an idea of numbers for tea & coffee, and if anyone has a particular query that can be checked out in advance.
People can book in person at the Granvllle St Reception or by phoning 0141 287 2999.
