Scotoberfest German themed beer fest Saturday 12th October

Taking place tomorrow from 6 - late (music stops at 11) at the rd Glasgow Scout Group Hall at 121 Shawmoss Road where authentic Munich lager Hofbrau will be on tap. Innis & Gunn and Arran Blonde will also be available.

Tickets are priced at £20 and for this you get music, a German-style buffet (pork, potatoes, sauerkraut etc), the 1st 48 people through the door get a special pint glass to take home, after that we have 48 half pint glasses available, 2 beers each, authentic German pretzels & snacks, a quiz and hopefully fun! The event is located at the 3rd Glasgow Scout Hall which is just down from the road from Shawlands and Crossmyloof Railway Stations so handy for public transport and there is on-street car parking available.

Transport:
Nearest train station is Shawlands, a 5 min walk away (Newton/Cathcart/Glasgow Central bound trains)
Crossmyloof is a 10 min walk ago (Barrhead/East Kilbride/Kilmarnock/Glasgow Central bound trains)
There are also Buses on Pollokshaws Road (First bus 57/57A from City Centre (get off at the Burrell pub/La Vida tapas restaurant, formerly 1901/The Swan). The First no. 3 stops a few streets away - get off at Pollokshaws library, and First 34 and 90 stop on Minard Rd a short walk away also.
Feel free to dress up in anything Scottish or German (tasteful mind ;) )
