Recapturing the spirit of the cinema clubs of the 40s and 50s this brings newsreel, shorts and the chance to learn a Charleston step or two, before the Feature Presentation, Bugsy Malone. Starring an all-child cast Bugsy Malone is a musical unlike any other. 1929, a mobster era with gangsters armed with custard instead of bullets, it captures a world of would-be hoodlums, showgirls and dreamers. As all round nice guy Bugsy must fight to win the day and the girl. Superb songs and starring Jodie Foster and Scott Baio.
