Cinema historians Gordon Barr and Gary Painter of the ScottishCinemas.org website will take you on a two-hour guided walk past a selection some of Glasgow's historic south side cinema buildings (some of which are still standing!).

They will tell you the story of the full range of Glasgow's unique and architecturally diverse cinema history, from converted warehouses, via the earliest purpose built halls, the peculiarly Scottish back-court theatres, to the finest thirties art deco super-cinemas, highlighting cinemas that were, cinemas that are, and cinemas that might have been.
