City puts on a show for Armed Forces Day

Glasgow’s Armed Forces Day (AFD) celebrations will take place in George Square on Saturday (June 30) from 10am until 4pm.
Lord Provost Sadie Docherty will welcome members of the Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force (RAF) and veterans and cadets from all three services as they take to the streets in a parade to mark the occasion.
The parade will begin at Holland Street at 2pm and follow a route along West Regent Street, West George Street and around George Square.
